This looks like $#!T, let's post it!

Clearly I'm too lazy to keep up with my "one art a day" plan.  I have trouble flossing on a regular basis too.  I managed to photoshop something today. The drawing was bad to start with and the textures I picked aren't much better, but it's a post.

I found some pictures of a drunken evening on my wife's camera.  A couple of filters later this happened...

I also shopped this photo of my cat holding a beer.

That's one mean looking drunk cat.

Well I'm holding the beer actually, but my cat doesn't have thumbs so it's forgivable. I think I might put a little more into this one later and try to cover up my fingers with some more alcohol bottles.  Alcoholic cats are hilarious.

I actually made something new.  It's just like the other one but half the size.

I'll be more consistent about positing after the wedding.  Or I'll get lazy and change the title to "some art, occasionally".

t-rex

Ran out of time to work on this tonight, but it's close enough to being finshed that i can post it anyway.  I'll changes the colors more to my liking later.

Also big thanks to the website stock.xchng.  This is where I get 99.9% of the textures and stock photography I used in my photoshopping.

Skull box is done

I finished it.  I think I liked it better before.  Covering up the cardboardiness sort of took away some of it's charm.  Also nail polish makes terrible paint.  Oh well, at least I have plenty of decoupage stuff left over to make something cool later on. 

More dinosaurs

Not a lot of time for art today, so this one is pretty half assed.  Another dinosaur? Heck yes! Dinosaurs are awesome.  Jurassic park is the best movie ever.  Jurassic park III is an abomination though.  They kill T-rex right at the beginning.  F*** you! spinosaurus.  I don't think you're even a real dinosaur.  Some palaeontologist screwed up and put the wrong bones together.  Anyway I drew this terra... ptera... screw it, bird-o-saurus.

Pat mentioned that he didn't like the stegosaurus's stupid looking grin.  So this is what I came up with.

"I'm sad."

Apparently stegosaurus was bi-polar.

Also there was mention of the cake topper being completely finished. Here's the picture of that.  I just hope no one at the wedding gets bent out of shape about the same sex inter-species marriage going on on top of our cake.

Anyway, all terror aside (just kidding hon) I finished the wedding cake toppers today.

I wanted more poof for jeffys dress, but white sculpey is infuriating to work with.  It's way too hard.

Stegosaurus

I tried to draw a stegosaurus and he ended up looking kind of retarded. I said one art a day, never said it was going to be good.  Maybe I'll draw some more dinosaurs later and make some sort of giant retarded dinosaur collage.

  

Also I acquired most of the supplies I need to put the finishing touches on the sculpture from last post.

Starting out this thing with a bang

My cousin Pat has a blog. So I decided that I need one too. I had a pizza box Taking up space so i turned it into this.

It's not entirely finished yet. I still need to put a more attractive outer layer on it, but that is for another day.
